The project involved upgrading the infrastructure of their STEM labs with top-tier, customised laboratory furnishing solutions.
Client: One of the best international schools in Dubai, committed to providing education of global standards. The school follows the American Curriculum (California CCSS and NGSS) and students are offered an inclusive learning environment which facilitates them to achieve their best potential.
Requirement: Creating a cutting-edge STEM lab with customised workspaces that facilitates experiential learning, enhances comfort, and empowers students to explore robotics, coding, engineering, and more.
Solution we offered: LabSpace has supplied and installed a wide range of customised laboratory furnishings and wall graphics for their STEM lab. As a turnkey solutions provider, we have also offered them resources and educational training with the assistance of Atlab, our group, Centena’s education vertical.
Main scope of work:
- Designed as Heavy-duty Labspaces, the STEM labs seamlessly blend precision, safety and adaptability. Robust frames are directly screwed into the floor along with attached cabinets that are securely mounted, hence providing an increased weight-bearing capacity and ample clearance for operations.
- Adaptable configurations facilitate smooth operations, ensuring optimal functionality and greater productivity.
- The worktops and cabinets were crafted using 18mm thick high-pressure melamine laminated boiled waterproof plywood, providing a longer lifespan, increased durability, chemical resistance, higher resistance to moisture, and easy maintenance.
