Today, we turn the spotlight on one of the projects we implemented for a renowned academic institution in Dubai. The project involved upgrading the infrastructure of their STEM labs with robust, advanced and efficient laboratory furnishings to facilitate hands-on experiments and nurture a collaborative environment.
Client: One of the leading British Curriculum Schools in Dubai, offering a world-class education.
Solution we offered: LabSpace has supplied and installed a wide range of customised laboratory furnishings for their STEM Lab. We have also offered them resources and educational training with the assistance of Atlab, our group, Centena’s educational vertical.
Main scope of work:
- The dynamic Floor-Mounted LabSpace design was implemented for this project, creating a contemporary infrastructure and providing an environment that fosters collaboration, fuels creativity, and promotes experiential learning.
- The worktops and cabinets were crafted using 18mm thick high-pressure melamine laminated boiled waterproof plywood, providing a longer lifespan, enhanced durability, chemical resistance, easy maintenance, and high moisture resistance.
- The precision and versatility of the lab furniture make it ideal for a multitude of operations.
- The furniture is mounted directly on the floor with worktops securely attached on top of the structure, ensuring unwavering stability and making it easier to accommodate equipment of various sizes for diverse experiments.
