Makerspaces are rapidly transforming education by creating engaging learning environments that foster creativity, innovation, problem-solving, collaboration and hands-on exploration. By incorporating innovative furniture, flexible seating arrangements and a range of tools, materials, and resources, Makerspaces enable students and educators to customise their workspaces to suit their specific project requirements. Today, we take you through a project we implemented for a prominent educational institution in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project involved upgrading their educational room with Makerspace lab furniture to provide students with a supportive environment to explore their interests, develop skills, and bring their unique ideas to life.

Client: A private, co-educational IB British Curriculum School located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The school has a highly diverse international community of students and offers a broad range of world-class facilities and learning experiences; facilitated by multicultural educators.

Solution we offered: LabSpace has supplied and installed a wide range of customised, state-of-the-art Makerspace lab furniture. In addition to this, we also provided them with resources and training with the assistance of Atlab, our group Centena’s education vertical.
