A well-equipped laboratory plays an important role in scientific research. Science laboratories provide students with the opportunity to engage in experiential learning, enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, whilst fostering teamwork and collaboration. Today, we share with you glimpses of our project for one of the leading educational institutes in Dubai where we were made responsible for upgrading the infrastructure of their science laboratories.
Client: One of the best educational institutions in the UAE. This British curriculum school in Dubai has been awarded the coveted “Outstanding” rating by KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority).
Solution we offered: LabSpace has supplied and installed a wide range of customised laboratory furnishings for their seven labs as well as several teacher’s wall units. As a turnkey laboratory solutions provider, we have offered them resources and educational training with the assistance of Atlab, Centena’s education vertical.
Main scope of work:
- The dynamic Floor-Mounted LabSpace delivers a robust infrastructure, providing an environment conducive for groundbreaking experiments and research endeavours.
- The advanced furnishing solutions are crafted for adaptability and versatility whilst being customised to meet diverse requirements.
- The precision and robustness of the lab furniture establish a secure environment, ideal for a multitude of operations, ensuring maximum performance and seamless operations.
- The flexible nature of the infrastructure optimises space usage accommodating equipment of various sizes and layouts for diverse experiments.
- The worktops were constructed using 16mm thick Trespa TopLab which stands out for its remarkable durability and functionality.
- The cabinets were crafted using 18mm thick high-pressure melamine laminated boiled waterproof plywood, providing a longer lifespan, increased durability, chemical resistance, easy maintenance, and high moisture resistance.
